I love the Baby Comeback delay, however, I’m having an issue that I can’t figure out how to resolve….
I have a vocal part, and I want only the last word sung by the vocalist to echo (i.e. be affected by the delay).
In my DAW, I created an automation lane for Baby Comeback “wet / dry” and set it to 100% dry until the final vocal note, where the envelope jumps immediately to 80% wet.
However, the echo contains the notes/words from 3 beats before, and not just the final word. (Example: vocalist sings “I love you baby,” one word per beat - I want the word “baby” on beat 4 to echo - but the echo includes the full line “I love you baby” and not just the final word. {{note: no, my song is not this cheesy, this phrase is just for illustration ;)}})
I tried setting the automation lane on other parameters, with no change.
Any ideas?
