This guide will walk you through the steps for some of the most popular DAWs.
Once these steps are complete, Humanoid will process your audio based on the MIDI notes you play.

Logic Pro
- Create a Software Instrument track.
- Load Humanoid into the instrument slot as an AU MIDI-Controlled Effect.
- In Humanoid, set the Pitch Mode to MIDI.
- Use the Side Chain menu in Logic to route your audio signal into Humanoid.
- Humanoid will now respond to incoming MIDI and process your audio accordingly.

- Create a MIDI Track.
- Route the MIDI output of that track into the instance of Humanoid that’s processing your audio.
- In Humanoid, set the Pitch Mode to MIDI.
- Humanoid will now respond to incoming MIDI and process your audio accordingly.

- Create a MIDI Track.
- Set the MIDI output of that track to the track where Humanoid is loaded.

- Load Humanoid onto your audio track.
- Add a Note Receiver device before Humanoid in the chain. Set note source to your MIDI instrument.
- In Humanoid, set the Pitch Mode to MIDI.

- Create a MIDI Track.
- Route the MIDI output of that track to the audio track where Humanoid is loaded.
- In Humanoid, set the Pitch Mode to MIDI.
- Humanoid will now respond to incoming MIDI and process your audio accordingly.

FL Studio
- Create a MIDI Out instrument in your Channel Rack. Set it to a port of your choosing.
- On your Humanoid plugin, open the detailed plugin settings. Then go to plugin options and set the MIDI input port to match the one used by the MIDI Out instrument.
- In Humanoid, set the Pitch Mode to MIDI.
- Humanoid will now respond to incoming MIDI and process your audio accordingly.
