Looking for drum sequencer plugins that will map easily to Tekno. I’ve seen some discussions of Strokes, Microtonic, BeatForge…and though they’re arguably a little overpowered: Addictive Drums, Superior Drummer 3, and EZDrummer. I think a pure MIDI fx plugin would be ideal and the most economical approach (at least as an AU in Logic). Open to all suggestions, however!
Have you tried Logic’s built-in step sequencer already?

As Asa said, Logic has a really nice step sequencer! That’s the one I used the most during testing. We have a Tekno update coming soon — you may not need an external sequencer for long
