Tekno Clap runs out of sync

Hi team,

When using Tekno, my clap drifts in and out. It’s not due to humanise and it’s the only channel that does this.

In this clip the drum loop plays and then I introduce the clap which goes in and out, which is unintentional. The clap sits on the 4/4 kick.

Any ideas?

Many thanks

Thanks for reporting. Does VST or VST3 behave the same way?

Hi Tristan!!

I have just tested with VST3 I haven’t tried VST. I shall try that to see. Also as a suggestion may it be possible to have Tekno exclude hits from humanise, the kick for example. Humanise is fantastic and what I enjoy alot about Tekno however when you are using the kick as your main kick I don’t want it affected. Now I could just drag the sample out however I like freedom to automate parameters at will. That would be cool!! I could also just use another instance I guess! It’s not a huge problem, just a suggestion

Please try with CLAP format if you have that installed as well. Curious about the results you’ll get.

I get the a better result with CLAP version. It’s still drifting ever so slightly with humanise at zero. Is this normal behaviour? Like a sort of humanise on the clap channel itself behind the scenes or is it my system you think?

Very strange. This isn’t something that has been reported. Do you have any particular hardware or MIDI plugins/sequencers running?

Hi Tristan,

I can confirm it’s fine with a fresh project and no other plugins running. Perhaps a problem that only arises under CPU load. I guess it’s really my system at fault (an aging i5 1ghz).

Thanks
