Why does Transit 2 reduce the volume of my track by ~4.4db?

For some reason when I put a fresh Transit 2 on a track, it just reduces the volume of it by about 4.4 db. I have made sure that it is in the INIT preset and there are no other factors.

I am only allowed to upload one image, but you can see that the volume of this track (which is normally sitting at 0 db with the plugin turned off) is reduced when the plugin is on.

I have Ableton 11.

Why is this happening? Am I doing something wrong?

Hey!

You may need to turn off the Safety Limiter in the settings menu on the top left. Let me know if that helps!

Yeah as Asa said it’s the safety limiter, which is in there because with a lot of the effects in Transit things can get loud especially as values are changed over time!
