Hey all, I’m Caspar, the founder of Baby Audio.
Over the past six years our company has grown from the idea of making a one-knob compressor for my laptop-studio to a huge community of users from all walks of life – all around the world.
We wanted to create a space for everyone to connect. We’re starting small, in fact I think this is the 7th post or something. But the idea is to give you a “back-stage” view to our company, share up-coming product ideas and receive feedback and feature requests so we can make better plugins.
The BA team are on here as well and this is the place to connect and hang out with us.

Let’s start with a simple question: What’s your favorite BA plugin – and why?
Hello Smooth Operator Pro. A true workhorse when equalizing difficult-to-tame sources containing resonances or harshness (strummed acoustics, dynamic vocals). Used lightly, that is.
I’d have to say Smooth Operator Pro, too. It’s just very useful for any and every project. The reverbs would be up there too, especially if I didn’t already have a bunch of other favourite reverbs. If necessary, I have a feeling you could use just the two BA ones and forget everything else!
I appreciate the dedicated space! It’s a great move to allow some back and forth.
I really like BA SOP for some general sweetening on some tracks. I find myself reaching for the delay quite often too. the reverb is of course too a staple - though I often reach for Valhalla vintage verb from familiarity.
I use Comeback Baby in every track multiple times. It’s so easy and quick to dial in and sounds good. Love it. Crystalline and perfect room 2 are also goto when it comes to reverb.

"Which plugin do I favor the most? Well, that’s not an easy one to answer. But I think Transit V2 scores very high in that regard for me personally, since it gives me so much inspiration. It also gets me into the flow so easily! Atoms and BA-1 are also very good-sounding and inspirational.
Hi Caspar, pleasure to be here. I have been eyeing BA for some time, Transit really caught my attention but I held back for various reasons. Smooth Operator is on my shopping list, but when Tekno came out I couldn’t resist and had to give up the love. I have been waiting for a product like this for years, a proper intensely tweakable drum synth. One happy brother here!
